We are the Equestin team, a group of dedicated professionals and horse lovers who work at the Grič Equestrian Club. We believe that horses teach us patience, trust, and respect. Every day, we create a space where a love of riding is intertwined with knowledge that we are happy to share.

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced rider, you will find support for your progress with us. Under the guidance of trainer Tina Kunc, we offer individual and group riding lessons, trail riding, dressage training, horseback rides for childern, and dressage training for competitors.

In addition, we offer the opportunity to take exams and obtain licenses, birthday parties with horses, and riding camps for anyone who wants to spend unforgettable moments in the company of horses.

Tina Kunc

DRESSAGE INSTRUCTOR WITH OVER 10 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

ina Kunc is the head riding insturctor of the Equestin club and an experienced dressage riding instructor with more than a decade of practical experience in teaching and competitive riding. Her journey with horses began in childhood, when summer holidays spent in the saddle gradually grew into her life's mission.

Today, Tina successfully leads and trains riders of all levels – from complete beginners to ambitious and competitive riders. In her work, she places special emphasis on correct biomechanics, precision, clear communication with the horse, and understanding the individual needs of each rider and horse.

She is known for her patience, attention to detail, and ability to recognize potential where others may not see it. Her training is based on professional knowledge, a respectful attitude towards horses, and the long-term development of the rider.

At the Equestin riding school, Tina creates a supportive and motivating environment where riders develop confidence, safety, and clearly defined goals in dressage riding.

    Klara Reindl

    RIDING INSTRUCTOR AND COMPETITOR

    Klara Reindl is an experienced riding instructor with many years of experience and an active competitor who has been part of our team for a decade.

    Her extensive riding experience enables her to effectively guide riders of all levels, from beginners to advanced competitors.

    In recent years, she has also joined us as an instructor, helping students improve their riding technique and achieve their goals, whether in recreational or competitive riding.

    Kaja Remic

    PHYSIOTHERAPIST, RIDING INSTRUCTOR AND COMPETITOR

    Kaja is a certified physiotherapist with several decades of experience in equestrian sports.

    She grew up surrounded by Icelandic horses and later began competing with them. Today, Kaja trains regularly and also competes in the discipline of dressage.

    For many years, she has also been dedicated to the educational side of the sport. She teaches at the riding school, helps organize various events, and leads our horse-based play and training program.

    Maša Plečnik

    RIDING INSTRUCTOR AND COMPETITOR

    Maša Plečnik is a dedicated riding instructor who successfully transfers her extensive experience as an active dressage competitor to her students.

    As a competitor, she has an excellent understanding of the demands and challenges of competitive riding, which enables her to guide individuals at both recreational and competitive levels.

    In addition to dressage, Maša is also actively involved in show jumping, where she is steadily climbing the competition ladder. In her training sessions, she emphasizes professionalism, patience, and an individual approach to each rider and horse.

    Julija Dahalić

    RIDING ASSISTANT AND SUPPORT FOR YOUNG RIDERS

    We are pleased to introduce the newest member of our team – Julija Dahalić.

    Julija is a medical student who brings her dedication and precision to the equestrian world. She trains diligently with us, while also actively participating in lessons and helping to entertain younger riders.

    Her warmth, responsibility, and positive attitude toward working with horses and children quickly won over both the team and our visitors.

    EXPERIENCED DRESSAGE HORSE AND SCHOOL MASTER

    Sim is an indispensable member of the Equestin team and the ideal choice for anyone looking for individual riding lessons or dressage training. This exceptional gelding, born in 2004, has a rich history of competition up to category S and experience in jumping competitions up to 110 cm. He is the perfect teacher for those preparing for dressage competitions.

    For more than 15 years, he has formed an exceptional pair with Tina, with whom he has achieved excellent results and developed a strong bond of trust. Sim is more than just a sport horse – he is a teacher, mentor, and reliable partner for anyone who wants to learn proper dressage riding.

    Neapolitano Samira XXI

    AN ELEGANT AND RELIABLE PARTNER IN THE SADDLE

    He is a refined Lipizzaner, born in 2010, who joined us last year and quickly became an important member of our equestrian family. With his elegant appearance, reliable character, and enviable knowledge of dressage elements up to level L, he inspires both riders and visitors alike.

    He is an experienced horse with a calm yet distinctly present energy, giving riders a sense of security and confidence. He is an excellent teacher for those who wish to upgrade their dressage skills, while remaining a reliable partner even on relaxed rides.

    Obelix

    A SHOW JUMPER WITH A BIG HEART

    Obelix is a large but extremely gentle jumping gelding, born in 2011, who has proven himself at the highest level of show jumping. His strength, precision, and reliability have taken him through numerous successful competitions, where he has impressed with his dedication and stable character.

    Today, he also focuses his energy on dressage, where he further refines his agility and harmony. Due to his rich experience and calm nature, Obelix is the ideal horse for riders who want to seriously devote themselves to competition training and upgrade their skills with a reliable sports partner.

    Macho

    A YOUNG AND PROMISING HORSE IN TRAINING

    Macho is a young and eager gelding, born in 2019, who is currently undergoing intensive training. Despite his youth, he already shows exceptional potential and a desire to learn, which is why we believe he will become an excellent sport and school horse.

    His greatest asset is his exceptionally friendly and sociable nature. He is always the first to come and greet you in the paddock and loves human attention. His curiosity and playfulness make him popular with both riders and other horses in the stable.

    Refur

    A RELIABLE SCHOOL HORSE WITH SPECIAL ENERGY

    Refur, also known to us as Blondi, is an Icelandic gelding born in 2012 who came to our club together with his long-time friend Stormur (Rdečeko).

    With his light color and characteristic calm gaze, he immediately attracts attention, but he charms even more with his reliable and lovable character.

    Stormur

    A FRIENDLY HORSE WITH A STABLE CHARACTER

    Stormur, known to everyone at home by his affectionate nickname Rdečko, is a unique Icelandic gelding born in 2013. Together with his companion Refur, he came to us from the Czech Republic three years ago and quickly adapted to his new home at the Grič Equestrian Club.

    As a true Icelandic horse, he is durable, intelligent, and incredibly adaptable. His calm and stable character makes him extremely reliable for riders of all levels.

    THE SILENT MASTER OF FIRST STEPS

    Desi is a 9-year-old mare, a cross between a quarter horse and an Icelandic horse, who joined our team this year. She is a true little teacher who happily shares her warmth and loyalty with anyone who spends time with her.

    In addition, she is very talented at jumping obstacles, where she impresses with her reliability and sense of movement.

    Čarli

    A GOOD-NATURED FRIEND

    Čarli is an exceptionally charming horse with a distinctive appearance, a cross between an Icelandic horse and a workhorse. He has a very gentle, calm, and reliable nature, especially around children. He loves attention and contact with people, so he quickly wins the hearts of everyone who meets him.

    He joined our team recently and is already bringing a special warmth to our team.
